The Brown Birds From Windy Hill
I was lucky to be able to work with Andrew Kidman and his band on the soundtrack for the film. We recorded the music at Pete Murray's studio out behind Bangalow in a jam packed and enjoyable couple of days.
The band were so stoked with the music we recorded on the weekend that they are releasing an accompanying CD. It's a great companion piece for the film and has been on high rotation on my itunes for the past week or two. I'm very impressed at the way the CD follows the same narrative arc of the film only in a musical sense.
In a side story from the weekend, Neal only made as far as the ditch down the road on the Saturday night where wisely decided that he'd just sleep the night.
